USAGE:

Глагол to light имеет две формы причастия II - lit и lighted. Форма причастия lit - освещенный употребляется с предшествующими наречиями: brightly (dimly, poorly) lit room ярко (тускло, плохо) освещенная комната; a freshly lit cigar свежезажженная/только что зажженная сигара. Форма lighted употребляется при отсутствии наречного определения: a lighted window освещенное окно; a lighted cigar зажженная сигара, ср. a freshly lit cigar
